First hydrogen-powered vessel for the Province of Overijssel

The Province of Overijssel will be the first province in the Netherlands to launch a ship powered entirely by hydrogen. It will replace an outdated diesel-powered ship that has reached the end of its lifespan. Maritime Projects created the initial design of the vessel.

Maritime Projects acquires Marimecs and Maritime Professionals evolving into a multi-service group

Founded by Maritime Projects, Maritime Professionals now offers resource management and staffing solutions to the Dutch and international maritime industry. In addition to this Maritime Projects has now also acquired Marimecs, a naval architecture, design and engineering firm in the yachting and commercial fields. All three businesses will be brought together under the MP Group.
